Former Duke starting point guard Greg Paulus has been officially hired by Ohio State’s Thad Matta to be a video coordinator.
Paulus has been all over the NCAA circuit since his time with the Duke Blue Devils. After a four year rollercoacter basketball career at Duke he moved onto Syracuse to be their starting quarterback. In his one season under center, Paulus threw for 2,025 yards and 13 touchdowns leading the Orange to a 4-8 overall record.
Paulus the athlete then turned into Paulus the coach as he became a Navy assistant coach last season. Born in Medina, Ohio, Paulus now returns home to work with Thad Matta and Ohio State, who went 32-2 last season only to be upset in the Sweet 16 by Kentucky.
